The drive towards entrepreneurship has become a crucial path for revitalizing the labor market and fostering innovation. In this context, San Luis Center conducted an Entrepreneurship Workshop on Wednesday, March 13th, an event that marked a significant milestone in its commitment to the professional preparation and guidance of its Lanbide students. The informative workshop on entrepreneurship was not only presented as a window to new opportunities but also as a beacon of hope for those seeking to diversify their professional paths through self-employment.
This event was particularly significant for motivating individuals with initiative and those already harboring ideas for starting their own ventures. It also focused on informing about the aids that the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, through its DEMA program, makes available to unemployed individuals looking to embark on a new professional journey.
The choice of "Accounting Management and Administrative Management for Audit" and "Organization and Management of Warehouses" courses as the focus of this day was no coincidence. These courses represent key areas in the world of business and management, providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary not only to perform effectively in these fields but also to innovate and create value in their future companies.
The session was enriched by the presence of Itziar Carranza, a DEMA technician, whose extensive experience and knowledge in supporting entrepreneurs over the years were crucial to the event's success. Her ability to convey complex information in an understandable way and her willingness to resolve all arising questions demonstrated an exceptional commitment to our students' professional future.
The workshop was very dynamic, covering not only the available financial aids but also providing a broader view of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bizkaia, highlighting the importance of innovation, perseverance, and adaptability on the path to business success.
We want to express our deep gratitude to Itziar Carranza for her invaluable contribution and to the Provincial Council of Bizkaia for facilitating these resources through the DEMA program. Such collaborations between educational institutions and governmental entities are fundamental to building a solid bridge between academic training and the labor market, offering students not only quality education but also the necessary support to turn their ideas into tangible realities.
The students' reaction to the workshop was notably positive. Many expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to gain a broader perspective on what entrepreneurship entails, as well as for the clarity with which the available resources to support their initiatives were explained. This enthusiasm reflects a growing interest in entrepreneurship as a viable and desirable professional outlet, challenging the traditional notion that the only path to labor success is through employment by others.
Entrepreneurship is not just about having a good idea but also about understanding the business environment as customers of these entrepreneurial initiatives, knowing how to navigate the aids and resources available, and having the ability to adapt to the changes and challenges that arise along the way.
At San Luis Center, we work to inspire, equip, and accompany future generations of professionals with the necessary tools to confidently and competently venture into the business world. Entrepreneurship offers a path full of possibilities for those with the vision and determination to follow it, and at the Center, we are committed to supporting our students at every step of their journey.
